I recently upgraded my main computer, but the ventilation capabilities of my existing case couldn’t deal with the increase in waste heat coming from the new components and the system “ran hot”. Adding more fans wasn’t really an option as the system was already quite noisy so a new case with better cooling was in order. After some research on the interbeams, I decided on the Antec P182…

Warhammer 40,000 is a rich, detailed universe and, after playing the Dawn Of War real time strategy game set in this universe for a bit, I see two other Warhammer 40,000 games just gosh darned crying out to be made…

free ipod video encoder

Having purchased an iPod Classic recently, I went in search of a free application to convert various videos to iPod format. I tried a few and found them lacking in one way or another: irritating, non-standard interfaces, buggy, crash prone and so on. But then I stumbled across WinFF and was pleasantly surprised!

gravity force whdload 1.00 released
Tuesday, April 29 2008 at 10:41 pm
|
|
I’ve released a new WHDLoad patch for Kingsoft’s gravity cave fighter, Gravity Force.
The patch fixes the usual collection of keyboard, blitter and access fault problems as well as adding the (equally usual) trainer and anti-copy-protection options. Two versions are supported, the original commercial release (which seems to be very rare!) and the more common PD release. Other “cracked” ADF versions may work but have not been tested and are not supported. In addition, registered WHDLoad users can use the second fire button to fire the ship’s weapons.
Download the patch, instructions and pre-installed image from my download pages or from the Official WHDLoad Website.
