jab web solutions

Sunday, February 10 2008 at 10:35 pm

I recently had cause to migrate some email and web domains I look after to a new, higher performance server. I wanted the migration to take place in a number of phases to mitigate the level of disaster and complaints I would face if anything went wrong, and obviously wanted to avoid any disaster, complaints or downtime for any of the 10 or so domains in question. As a result, I probably created a lot of work for my hosting company JAB Web Solutions and would like to thank their tech guy Jonathan for his help and advice in the initial planning of the move as well as the three or four 4am Fridays he put in to actually carry out the work. Everything is safely moved now, and not an email was lost nor was any web user left looking at a 404 page. None that I know of anyway ;)

At the time of writing I’ve been using JAB for coming up on three years and have found their hosting services to be reliable, easy to use and reasonably priced, and their customer support is among the best I’ve experienced. I would have no hesitation recommending anyone looking for a UK based email, web or reseller hosting package to check out JAB’s offerings. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Disclosure: I pay JAB Web Solutions their full, standard commercial rate for a couple of web and email hosting packages that I require. They didn’t ask me to write this article and I did not receive (nor do I expect to receive) any payment, discount or other benefit, financial or otherwise, for doing so. So there.
